'Misanthrology' is a much matured album in comparison to 'This is How to Die'. With this album we focused a lot more on live instrumentation instead of just a keyboard and doing straight up noise destruction. It's more industrialized to say the least.

This is our second pfsiyam release and our proudest yet!
This album unlike the first one, is not a concept album in any way, it's more political/industrial metal, a huge transition from straight up experimental/ noise destruction! "I Want Out" and "PFSIYAM" are the two major anti-politcal tracks and still stand strong today, even though they were written/sampled years ago.
If you're a first time pfsiyam listener, I highly recommend this album, the first album is nothing in comparison to this, plus the first album is a lot harder to stomach for some people in comparison to this one, or so I've heard...
After we were finished with 'This is How to Die' we geared more toward live instrumentation and we strived to achieve that, and we did. This album was in the works for 3 years, we finished mixing the first album in 2007 and right after started on the second, however; with job schedules and other miscellaneous bullshit we ended up just going at it every now and again. We'd get together every few months and knock a track or two out and then just party and work basically. Up until about June/July 2010 was when we really started to push for a finishing date. We collaborated for the duration of the summer/fall and blew out all the unfinished tracks we had saved years ago, which ended up being about 6 or 7 tracks! We then recorded a couple more tracks with a lot of meaning and purpose put into them at the time due to some certain situations that I would rather not talk about...I then finally offered to add some of my songs from my solo project 'Misanthrology' (hence the album title) to finish up the albumwhich ended up being an additional 4 tracks.
Overall it's an excellent album, 3 years in the making and a lot of blood, sweat and tears...I hope everyone enjoys it as much as we do!
