No one knows how or why it began, but once it began, it could not be stopped.
From an inconceivable vibration deep within the microscopic pores of the brick it echoes onward and upward, tagging each molecule along the way, beckoning them to release their long dormant song.
From there, the life spreads like a virus, possessing chains, and cabinets, entire sheets of metal, it sputters, struggles to its feet, as entropy tackles it to the Earth again.
It is persistent; assembling once again, remembering what had come before, and innovating as such. All the same it struggles to stand, and walks only so far before once again itâs destruction paves the way for itsâ next incarnation, perhaps a greater one.
And so we stand, neither at a beginning nor an end, as our human minds struggle, like the brick to assess itself against the cold metal of chaos as he makes love to the invisible mistress of the mysterium, ultimately birthing this child of no name, no gender, no face, no land. An immortal monstrosity with neither beginning nor end, heads nor tails, id or ego.
They begged us to not let it live, but the choice was never ours to begin with. This is the brickcorps saga, a scientific abomination, a spiritual h-bomb, a Shamanâs nightmare, and a Catholic metal smithâs long repressed wet dream . . .
