Jezebel- embodies all the things you never knew you needed...until now. A blend of rock, dark wave and white noise.
5 MP3 Songs
ROCK: 80's Rock, ROCK: Goth
Details:
In October of 2003 Dorian Tucker and Chris Jones long time friends became roommates. Immediately Jezebel was born. âWhether it was the fact that we had so many damn instruments between the two of us that they furnished our living room or if it was our dissatisfaction with the local Southern California music scene by large, I canât rememberâ¦but probably a bit of bothâ-Dorian.
Michael Croft, at that time had recently relocated to San Diego. Soon paths met, bonds formed and the core of Jezebelâs foundation was solidified. They wrote. Wrote nonstop and played their first live show only one month after beginning the project. And what is it that they write aboutâ¦well, itâs indecent, dramatic, sprinkled with envy and presented with happiness. With so many different emotions these tracks are able to be selfishly manipulated to fit whatever mood youâre in. Enjoy.
-Dan Turtle
I remember the first time I heard Jezebel, just like it was yesterday. I was hearing something I really liked and it was from right here in San Diego! Not a city known for its darker elements, but there are some people who support it via art and music or club nights. These guy's do it all! A little goth, a little indie, a little darkwave, a little groove - hell it's got it all! Go see Jezebel or buy their CD, at least!
