Ballet Mecanique is a solo project of James Tucker, east-coast US based composer and keyboard artist. James has an extensive performance and studio session list of credits including working with: The Drifters, Wolfman Jack,
Al Wilson, The Platters, The Temptations, Bobby Lewis, The Marvellettes, O.C. Nunn, The Shirelles, The Coasters, Pat Upton ( the Spiral Staircase), The Dubs, Lost Highway Band, Michael Sparks, Mike Melchione, Fractious, Eric King and others. James' music has been used at the Kennedy Center and other venues in the Washington, DC area by regional and national dance groups as well as for independent films in the DC and Baltimore areas. With Ballet Mecanique, James is departing from standard musical style and form and creating a surreal and revolutionary fusion of Classical, Jazz, Techno, Rock, and Hip-Hop that just plain grooves.
