My musical journey began as a teenager, where I began learning how to play the guitar in late 1970's, the Church at the time in Kenya was not comfortable with the idea of guitars being played in the Church, but I persevered and by the turn of the 1980's especially in the city of Nairobi, guitars were customary instruments in the Churches that were of appeal.

I was inspired then in my worship experinece to start writting songs of my love for Jesus and His call upon my life and that of any believer. This exercise was a great help in guarding and guiding me from the excesses of the world as a youth. I have since played the guitar for more than 20 years, I enjoy diverse creativity and influence brought in by the convertees of secular music to Christian music, I enjoy strong, uptempo music at times and silent meditative music at others.

It is therfor a labour of love to complete this recording of WE shall overcome cd. And I have been blessed to work with very passionate and dedicated brothers and sisters in the Lord, I am refering to Johnstone Kwendo, Mark Hanna, Nathaniel and Joyce Essendi and all those that have been supporting me in prayer and moral support thank you.

We have relished every minute in the creation and recording of this work and you will too.
