No matter what the latest trend is, JaW music is for all who consider that the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, the Kinks, the Yardbirds, Cream or Jimi Hendrix made the music of the 20th century.
12 MP3 Songs
ROCK: 70's Rock, POP: 70's Pop
Details:
After "Back again" released in 2004, the more obvious JaW style is on "Breaker". What makes this one something theyâre really proud of, is the time spent working on the songs, but also, the fact that there was no hurry to have it ready. They worked on the songs, left them for a while, sometimes months, came back with new ideas, until theyâd be happy with them.
So here we are again with simple pop melodies (âTears of the sunâ, âLeavingâ, âSong about youâ, âPerverted guyâ), blues rock (âSuzyâs shuffleâ, âRareâ), rock (âSavedâ, âOne more gigâ, âSuch a dragâ) and the traditional tribute (âMr F.â for Robben Ford). We wonât tell you but "Such a drag" is also a kind of tribute, and yes, this one is so obviousâ¦.(love you Keith !).
Just to prove, if needed, that there is no nostalgia in all this, thereâs a bit more in it: "modern" songs (âLydian heartâ) or funky groove (âLiving my wayâ).
Good stuff isnât it!
