Details:
John Totaro, Boston, MA

Singer/songwriter/guitarist John Totaro has been a mainstay on the Boston rock scene since his first release the early 1980âs. Totaro fronted The Tats; The Accidents before John Totaro Group E. John Totaro also produced & hosted the Media One television show âRawk Tawk with John Totaroâ in which he did 84 episodes over a 3-year period of time. Rawk Tawk featured the cream of the crop of the Boston rock scene doing interviews with Totaro and then performing.

Following is a partial list of reviews on for this release:

"John Totaro writes songs that span multiple genres and labels from melodic pop tunes with lyrical hooks, to pure punk songs complete with snotty in-your-face attitude coupled with a wink and a smile."
ENTERTAINMENT NORTHEAST

"If you listened to the critics, you'd think John Totaro was on his way to the top. Totaro has been called "Boston's most heralded unsigned band". They've been compared with bands like The Clash, Ramones, Rolling Stones, Velvet Underground, and David Bowie."
SOUNDCHECK MAGAZINE

"Take a splash of the Ramones, add a bit of Velvet Underground, throw in a piece a piece of the Replacements for good measure, then add a chunk of new life, you get TOTARO."
PORTSMOUTH HERALD

"There's no question that John Totaro's got what it takes to be a star. He's got the look, the attitude, and rocks like the best of 'em. Most importantly he's got the songs."
SEACOAST TIMES

"John Totaro's Toe Tar Row is one of the best CD's to make an appearance this year."
WORCESTER PHOENIX

"Front man John Totaro is well known locally for his involvement in the scene and his superior songwriting."
NEXT TO KIN MAGAZINE

"John Totaro's sound frequently recalls the loud three-chord rock of the Sex Pistols, and Ramones, sounds more appropriate from a band from England than Boston."
THE TAB NEWSPAPER

"Critically acclaimed TOTARO is the alternative pop project of songwriter John Totaro. Dipping into punk roots of The Replacements and Ramones, this band whips off hook after hook, impressing all with great songwriting and a killer stage show. John's front man antics alone will grab you and youâll leave humming his songs."
