i'm a 45 year old singer/songwriter/guitarist who has been writing and singing and playing since the age of 10! i have a very rich alto voice, and i've sang in alot of choirs. i'm a self-taught acoustic guitarist, and i write both lyrics and melodies. i also arrange music in different styles. i grew up in the church, and have written my strongest songs in the christian/spiritual/gospel categories. my inspiration for these songs came from the bible, as well as divine inspiration from just taking a walk or going for a drive! i've also written in the genres of pop, folk, jazz/ easy listening, and blues. but, this song collection of mine, "there is a treasure', is by far my "cream-of-the-crop" compositions, and i'm very humbled and yet proud of this collection of songs.
