NEW AGE: New Age, NEW AGE: Meditation
Details:
I have always been drawn to the piano and one of my earliest memories is waking up under our familyâs piano bench after sleepwalking. So I figured I better start playing the darn thing and have been since the age of three. When I was twelve I began playing in rock and roll bands and started my professional career, earning my first $30 during a battle of the bands show at Bright Park, Florida. I worked with bands and in recording studios in Florida during the 1970's and then moved to Colorado in 1980 where I performed with local bands and duos. At some point in there I realized a touring musician was not my calling so I went back to college for a graduate degree or two. I rarely perform these days, but do occasionally come out of hiding to play at benefit concerts and local engagements. My first CD was composed and produced in the year 2000 as a way of expressing my mellower musical interests - hence the title âSongs for Insomniacsâ..... Warning, do not listen to this CD while operating heavy machinery.... Iâm currently working on another CD with a few more up-tempo tunes, and after 10 years off, I may start performing out again on a regular basis in a as yet to be formed duo or band.
