Bamjimba....the story so far....In April 2003 Jim Bamber AKA Bamjimba AKA Dj Phat Bassa created a production company to produce a CD entitled "1 Love" in aid of the UK Sickle Cell Society,after a good friend of his died from SCD complications. Through internet sales on the website & selected one man distribution through selected ragga shops in the UK....plus internet sales in USA...Australia/New Zealand & most European countries...the CD has sold thousands worldwide & made over $9000 (£6500) for the charity.Now teaming up with (Grammy nominated) producer The Mad Professor...a Fantastic young Nigerian vocalist (El Fata )....and famous poet Mark Mace...Bamjimba has produced a 5 track demo CD for digital distribution....AIRPLAY so far...This CD has been & is being played in the following countries...Argentina (La de Dios.FM)...Brazil...USA (Big-Up Radio Miami/Ras Charles Irationvibration WHRW New York/Jammin Reggae Radio LA)..UK (BBC "On the Wire" & 1XTRA FM....plus various independant pirates..)
