After graduating from Belmont with a degree in music and playing drums in a national act for several years, Criss decided to put together a rock band to pick up chix (just being honest). After writing AC's first 30 songs, Joel (bass) and Criss booked some gigs, learned some ropes, found a great drummer and guitar player and ran with it. After hundreds of shows and crafting the art of entertaining via trial and error, the live show became so amazing that the group cut a record, started actually thinking about the future, gave up on chix (just ain't happenin), and ended up here!

Influences: everybody from my friends, family, fellow musicians, myself sometimes... Anything on the radio and NOTHING on the radio. The good shit AND the bad shit influences me. I never play the same song the same way twice; the air influences me! My mind changes every 5 minutes. Musically I really dig Stevie Wonder, Prince, Michael Jackson, Phil Collins, Sinatra, Pearl Jam, KISS, Parliament, just NO country or rap!
