don't take this shit to seriously (kind of)...

around september of 2001, jonah, chris, and scott were all in the band the quad 5 crew (fight or flight). scott had made a delightful rap song with casey w-a called "just chillin," with jonah singing the hook. we all loved it and decided to make some songs with all of us on em. jonah and scott made a handful of beats, then recorded on his basement computer. the other quad 5 crew bro thought he was too cool for our rap songs, so we became the quad 5 trio. we put that cd out, burning it ourselves, photocopying inserts and selling em for $1.

a year passed and jonah had stock piled a good amount of beats, so we went and recorded "part II: jump kicks / smash hits" with scott's improved studio. the rhymes, hooks, beats and everything you can think of were 100x better then the first EP. we were stoked on it enough to send the cd off to get pressed, then had a bro hook us up at kinko's for the inserts. besides the pressing people leaving off a track, everything was solid gold. we sold a few hundred of those and made fans out of whoever heard it. well we'd like to think that.

we knew we had at least another album in us, and j hadn't stopped crankin out the rock solid beats... soooooo, we started making "trio:trio", building on everything we did on the last album and then improving it. haha, what? but yeah, by this point we stopped taking ourselves as a complete joke and realized we were doing songs as good as any other shit we heard. we had those pressed and then sold a couple hundred of those. seemed like a good note to end on, especially knowing we did it in about a month...

but alas! by this point, we all loved trio too much to just let it fade out. additionally, scott's studio (shackrock recordings) was now blowing up in cincinnati. rappers were in crankin out albums every free moment he had. with this being true, and because of school, we knew we only had a month or so to record over winter of 2004/2005, so j had to start producin beats at a rapid rate. we finished "chapter four" on the very last day possible, somehow ending up with the best cd yet. we live to out-do ourselves i guess....ha...we sold all 400+ copies of the album, and it was a huge hit, of coruse.

this leads us to the current album, released in FEB. of 2006 - Eternally Basement. people thought once you make the best album ever you can't ever make a better one (say, weezer blue/pinkerton...then they sucked)...well we did, again and again and again. this album is off the chain. so get it, quick.
