Train to Quintenas, literally an underground band. A band of hermits you wonât find on stage.
Train to Quintenas is a group of Dutch and French rockmusicians.
They write and record their music in their homestudio in a small village called Udenhout, somewhere in the south of the Netherlands.
As said, they donât do live gigs and even on photographs theyâre disguised or hidden in shrubs.
More than by themselves, they are represented by their melodic songs on their debut cd âJoe Hammerâs ice-cream car and other sweet sounds from W. Lemonâs smithyâ. That cd is a melancholic trip through the memories of someone who seems to enjoy the pain of longing for definite long lost things. So it goes. There are no ice-cream cars to be seen at the fair nowadays like Joe Hammerâs beautiful antique ice-cream car.
