About the Album
Episode One : Into the Light
First and foremost, Welcome, my name is Robert and I have been creating music for about 12 years now. I wanted to create an album with lots of different styles and music genres all in one. I experimented with various soft synths on my computer to achieve the textures you hear in my songs. A Korg X5D is probably the perfect tool for most sounds created or used in my creations. I also use a Roland JV-1010 Rack module. I usually start by using a breakbeat or create the drum part first and then move on to the bass line, adding everything else from then on. I do like creating space strings and other string/pad sounds. I love using them in nearly ever song. . My main tool for midi is Logic Audio on the PC. I highly recommend anything by Spectrasonics, including Atmosphere, Trilogy and Stylus. In fact most of the drums are Taken from Stylus and then messed around with.
I hope you enjoy the album as much as I have had creating it.
