RUDITOONZ' first album, featuring great fun silly acoustic songs and stories for kids that their parents will love too.
15 MP3 Songs
KIDS/FAMILY: Children's Pop, KIDS/FAMILY: General Children's Music
Details:
Performing for children for over ten years, Rudi (Scott Rudicel to his parents) has found a niche in writing songs that appeal to both kids and their parents. On this album, sweet and simple stories and songs tell of monsters in the basement (with a rock band, no less!), a magic, flying pencil, and songs about mischievous beagles, a turtle who tells tall tales, an underground mole, and the rules he has for being his best friend. He also names 1,440 jobs kids could grow up to do (okay, not quite that many!) but says that the bestest job of all is just being a kid. His overall message is "Be Nice and Have Fun" (Rule #1), but there are deeper messages hidden within the songs, so pure and simple kids don't even realize they're being taught. They're just having fun singing along!
Rudi enjoyed local, regional and national success with numerous rock and folk bands in the 90's and early 2000's, traveling the country and appearing on many CD's for various artists, including his own bands, Liquid Circumstance and The Fabulous Lettuce Monkeys. A gig in Montana for a roommate's day-care center, and the birth of his two nephews, Alex and Austin, prompted him to begin writing his own songs for children.
