Ruined Choir (Shakespeare sonnet #73) released "Aggregate" in 1995.
It is comprised of nineteen acoustic/electric songs in the Pop-Rock-Folk genre,
which change style each selection. The lyrics are introspective, whimsical, and satirical,
socio-political, story telling and insightful. Combine all that with the fine
vocal harmonies of Steve and Nate; Aggregate is sublime.
The group was started by Steve McLalan, who is featured on CD Baby with
his solo guitar-instrumental, The Mustard Suites. Be sure to check that out;
as it is a fine piece of work, as well.
Also featured on Aggregate, is Nate Kennerly, vocals, guitar, Craig Lehman, Bass, and
Eric Heinly on drums.
Although the group disbanded not long after this release, Steve and Nate still perform on occasions; see Steve's website: themustardsuites.com, for upcoming
shows.
