Growing up to the sounds of motown, hip hop, jazz & blues, r&b, reggae, and even rock & roll....
He's been in love with music ever since he can remember first hearing it.
Seeing some of now hip hop's pioneers & watching how people enjoyed to lose their selves to the sound of the drum & being a part of that crowd that was vibing to that same sound.
He started writing in his early teens, doing talent shows at 13,open mics, clubs, battle's any where he could find one.

His name "RUGG MC" comes from his first alias "smugget" the rugged one.The mc comes from the do's & don't he learned in being on the scene, back stage, in the crowd or where ever he could get a good spot at a show.
His style of music is exactly what "ALL ANGLE MASS" stands for. It's hip hop, it's pop, it's grunge, it's relaxed & hype, it's hood, it's rock, but most of all it's focused & real good music.(r.g.m.)
