Details:
I Linda Jean Jordan was born on May 13 1957 in a small country southern town of Sandersville Georgia. My parents are the late Isadore Jordan and the late Willie Mae Jordan {Roberts}.
I am from a strong background which their were lots potentials for greatiness. Their were eleven children and I was the youngest. Everybody was a little star strut, singing in church, or on the radio programs on Sunday mornings in my home town. Parading back and forth from choirs to Churches. I had five sisters, and five brothers and they all was talentiveand most singed. My parents was the pridest, acourse I sat back and watched.
In years to come the household members became smaller, leaving very little excitement where music came to play. I was taught piano lessons, and just love to write. Often the Jackson music would have me rocking and rolling. My spiritual family roots, developed two ministers in the family. A Rev. D.W. Jordan of St. Louis Mo., and a sister the late Elizebeth Morris, of New Mexico. Both wrote and recorded music. Their is was a older brother Artist Lee Jordan, whom played guitar in the recording hit song (BACK FIELD EMOTION) with recording artists MEL & Tim cast excitement in and out the family.
After finishing highschool in 1975, professionally I studied business courses going to IBM schools. At this point their was one fell marriage, and a craving to grow stronger in writing lyrics. The first song I wrote professionally in 1971, Ms. Dollie Pardon sanged with all her heart. (I'm Blind in Love). I was an excited 15 year old as Nashville Tennessee announced Ms. Pardon introducing a song of a young artist who will someday become a professional song artist. That was part of the fire works which lead me to Haywood Studios, in Atlanta Georgia. After gradurating from IBM Computer Keypunch, I was looking for work and most time I wrote songs. In 1981one song I missed. It was missing in action. My marriage song, where was it! (United Together) It was a hit playing on the radio, how lucky a girl can get or unlucky!!!!
It was time for some education in the field of music. I had to learn the field of music the ends and and outs and the first place I entered was, Mrs. R Richardson, of Master Sound Studios. We talked about dream and how easy it was to miss written material. It was a lesson well taught, for she also added, Linda your music is your signature. No one in the world can write like you! I became a member in Atlanta Songs Writers Association. Later I was introduced to Mr Phil Randall which at that time assistanted Attorney David Franklin. Finally I was off and running on my own. I even earned a nickname Billy Jean!
I became determined to master the art of writing and producing my own projects. I joined TAXIE, start Copywriting my material. I became a writer and publisher member of ASCAP in 1984. GAVIN assign and reported a radio list for my music out of California in 1999. And I was off and running to Haywood's Studio. Haywood's Studio in Atlanta Georgia, and Mr Haywood Tucker help me complete the project (BELIEVE}.
Everything else is history, I am a owner of Busonic Publisher marketing and selling my own CD's and a part-time teacher. I gradurated from Georgia Military College in 2001. I am affiliated with ASCAP (American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers). I currently contracted by ( dsm Producers ) and receive full writer publishers and media licensed by the society to publish recordings, composition, commercially. What a challenge! In 2002, I was nominated for International Peace Prize. It was for my contributions to global betterment of societies. My impact on the international level of understanding and willingness to share my talents with others is the basis for this nomination of this award. All these dreams and ambitions I can never forget to include Taurus S., Autume & Quinton, my olderst son, Kelia S., of UGA , Justin & Royney, Carletha R., of UGA, Shemica R, UCF.and Jibril my youngest. These are the reason I dream, My family. I Owe everything that I am and can be to God my Family, Fans, Friends!
