Rebecca Lou has always respected the veterans and public servants who have given of themselves to help this nation of ours be a better place to live. She has spent countless hours in volunteer work at the Veteran's Administration Hospitals in the New England Area. She has given holiday shows to the hospitalized vets with no thought of renumeration. This past year she did even more. She sent several dozen CD's and autographed photo's to our troops in Iraq. One unit who received some of the items was the 800th Military Police Brigade. On the return to the states of the Brigade in 2004, the acting Chief Of Staff of the Brigade presented Rebecca Lou with a certificate, plaque, and a couple of Brigade coins, which are given to members of the Brigade in recognition of excellence. This was quite an honor to Rebecca Lou. In turn she has recorded this album: "Love America", which expresses her true feelings towards these who the citizens of our country so often forget. Listen to the sound clips, and see for yourself: this is truely a collector's album!
