Reverend, Willie B. Tripp
Reverend, Willie B. Tripp was born in Turkey, North Carolina.
Rev. Tripp was raise up on the farm in a Christian hearted family. His life was nurtured in Sunday School and Bible School at the Greater Six Runs Missionary Baptist Church where the late Reverend, Jerry Grime was the very fine pastor. Being raised up in the Church of God, Willie participated in many church functions. At a very young age, he became a minister of music and began to sing quartet with his family group the Jerusalem Travelers. He was raised up singing gospel going from place to place with his church and his family quartet.
Rev. Tripp, left North Carolina seeking employment in the state of Maryland and found employment and his loving wife. Through trails and tribulations Rev. Tripp has learned that Jesus was and is The Way The Truth and The Life. He constantly remembers the way in which he was brought up to fear God.
In 1979 the Lord directed Rev. Trippâs foot steps to the Christian Community Church of God where the late Bishop, Conway Green was founder and pastor. Rev. Tripp joined the Radio Choir as a lead guitarist. In 1983 Rev. Tripp founded the Bethlehem Travelers Gospel Singers. He and the Bethlehem Travelers perform at many churches and many charity organizations to help raise funds for Kingdom Building. Rev. Tripp, helped many quartet singers in music. He worked weekends with other local groups in radio broadcasting.
