Remote Confederation, a sextet of high-energy musicians, set out in 2003 to bring the sounds of ska music to the mean streets of Idaho. Since then, they have showcased their talents by playing countless shows, winning various awards, amassing a large following of devoted fans, and sharing the stage with such names in the ska business as Satori, Westbound Train, Go Jimmy Go, and ska legends The Toasters.

Band for Sale (2006) marked their long awaited first studio album. Band for Sale combines the bands knowledge of their instruments with their ability to write meaningful lyrics, whether they are witty and comedic, serious, or providing commentary about the music industry.
