Reg Clair plays tenor sax and flute and composes music. He has played with Tom Kubis, Cecilia Coleman and others and has gigged around clubs in Orange County and played jazz in collegiate and professional big bands. This debut album features nine new jazz tunes (Ballads, Bossa, and Bop).The tunes were selected from jam session recordings featuring Reg and various sidemen playing in intimate small combo settings. All of the tunes on the CD were written by Reg. Most of them reflect some personal experience including "Golden West" in honor of the junior college of that name for the great music program they have there.

A brief description of each track follows:
