I believe that country music, including bluegrass and American folk music is a part of our heritage.
I intend to do what I can to keep, protect and advance it in whatever way I can.
I have been writing and performing this kind of traditional country music for most of my life.
I was born and grew up near Beattyville, Kentucky in a small town called Fillmore, and moved to Michigan in early adulthood.
My faith in God is unshakable, and my love for my fellow man should be self evident to all of those who know me.
I am thankful that I have the ability to create new melodies out of thin air, and write words to go with them.
I want to share my songs and my singing with as many people as would come to listen 'Now or after I am gone'.
I hope to do three or four CD's a year from this time forward.
