the REVERBERATORS

The REVERBERATORS was formed in 2002 by Marty McDermott of Valatie, NY and Tom Holland of Delmar, NY. With a combined background that covered many years and a wide spectrum of musical styles, Marty and Tom had a shared vision of a band that featured a variety of stylistic content, included original material and utilized carefully arranged vocal harmonies as the group's predominant feature. The REVERBERATORS is the result of this vision.

The bandâs personnel lineup has gone through a handful of revisions since its inception. Starting in 2004, Jim Featherstone, an accomplished guitar-slinger and vocalist from Saratoga County joined the REVERBERATORS and became a dominant creative force in the band's musical direction. In early 2005, veteran bassist and vocalist Bill Baker from Averill Park came aboard to anchor the low end. This past winter, keyboardist and vocalist Luke Legg came aboard to round out the sound and complete the lineup.

The REVERBERATORS is a rock ân roll dance band that performs a wide range of styles from various musical genres including a varied mix of rock ân roll juke box standards from the 50âs through 00âs, some oldies, a little southern rock and a bit of blues, rockabilly and R & B. Their current repertoire includes original material from their recent CD, âWhatâs Shakinâ?â as well as new material, yet to be released.

The REVERBERATORS delivers performances that appeal to a wide range of musical tastes and feature meticulous harmony vocals, giving melodic interest to their entire repertoire.

The REVERBERATORS is a vibrant, exciting band that enjoys wide appeal by all ages.
