that love them ( believe me, there are many). Since the passing of Notorious B.I.G. and Big Pun, there is a definite void left
to be filled in the Hip Hop community. A ladies-man in his own right, Mista Tension Reliever has exactly what it takes to
restore the âBig Daddyâ perspective missing from todayâs music.
Laced with Old School game, a love for Memphis Blues, and the confidence of a Cash Money Millionaire;
Tension has a flow like none other. Raised deep in the West Tension (West Tennessee) and an only child, he always had to
fend for him-self. And from what Iâve seen, when faced with adversity, Tension has never given up without a fight. At the
same time, he remained cautious in watching where he stepped and also watching the steps of others. Tension has been
striving to perfect his love for music since early elementary school and has only improved.
Tensionâs lyrical inclination takes aim with a play on words that could only be found and felt in the Dirty Streets
of the South but yet is universally understood. âGenuineâ (which contains No Samples) demonstrates his lyrical talents to
some extent but doesnât completely display his abilities or production capabilities.
Tension finds himself fortunate to beat the odds of his small hometown streets in relocating to Memphis and
not becoming apart of Jackson, TNâs rich legacy. A legacy filled with many stories of fallen soldiers and enough life
sentences for all. Many acquaintances were not so fortunate. Tension hails from Madison County (Mad Co). Tennesseeâs
fifth largest city of Jackson; which has securely held itâs place since at least 1995 as having Americaâs 5th largest crime

Even with the many obstacles in his path that come along with growing up black in the South, This guy
(Tension) was born for greatness and will do great things in whatever he chooses to pursuit. Iâve seen it happen before. I
