Details:
relaxed motivation was originally formed as a solo project during the summer of 2003. In the Summer of 2003, a 3-song demo (âBig Mind, Big Impact, No Fearâ) was produced with Adam Accetta at Shoes Underground in Danbury, CT, but the project was put on hold shortly after to form Almost April with a few friends from college (Tom Pino, Douglas Eng, Robby Spirelli). After frequenting the scene with a plethora of original rock tunes and recording several more demos with Adam, the band parted in July 2005. Bored and frustrated, relaxed motivation came back to play. In October 2005, Matt Garzia and John Mena (founders of Green Arrow Productions and band members of TIRADE) heard some personal demos and extended an invitation to record a few tracks in Tappan, NY. What started as simple fun and jamming out resulted in an acoustic and vocal blend co-produced by Matt Garzia and released by Junior Varsity Records in October 2006 titled "la mañana perdida" (âthe lost morningâ). Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, this is relaxed motivation. . .
