Rebekah McLeod is a gifted singer and songwriter from the Washington DC area. Her accessible lyrics and singable melodies easily connect her to a wide range of listeners. Rebekah's style of communicating is very warm and conversational, and her songs flow as a natural extension of her personal testimony. Rebekah won the grand prize in the God-Song 2004 Songwriting Contest last February, for which she was awarded ten free hours of recording time at Rockville, Maryland's premiere Omega Recording Studios. This prize helped launch her debut CD, "Evidence of His Love", to be released in April 2005. Rebekah is active in the music ministry at her home church and has begun touring locally and supporting ministries through benefit concerts. She lives in the DC area with her husband and 3 children.
