Eldbjørg is from and is living in Norway. She has been working with improvisation for a long time, to explore the possibilities and abilities of the voice, and a cappella has been a main part of her works for more than 10 years.
In her solo project, Eldbjørg performs alone with her voice, live sampling and effects. The process before and on stage is mainly improvised, with and without words. Quiet, silent whispers, guttural squeaks and scats â the musical pieces are built up brick by brick, often ending up in harmonies, phonetic pearls and beautiful melodic themes â whirled around lyrics lent from poets like Olav H.Hauge and .G.Lorca â or her own not literary âlanguageâ.

Her first solo concert was at the Trondheim Jazz festival in November 2002, and after she has been visiting many European festivals (Hungary, Germany, Italy, Ukraine, Lithuania..) Her solo performances have shown great effect on the audience, the response has been breathtaking â and now Eldbjørg is ready to go anywhere with this project â and NOW IT´S HERE ON CD!
