Once in Lifetime there comes an artist who is called to minister in songs for a particular generations. Rainey is truly one of those artists. With the involvement of a great producer Ashley K. Davis. With special appearances by Dr Eric Farmer who is a highly anointed man of God and Donald Hayes known as one of nationâs greatest saxophonist who has been involved with project from Fred Hammond, Yolanda Adams and Stevie Wonder. Also on the project is the master of the Keyboards Derrick Jackson, the personal musician for Church of God In Christ Presiding Bishop Gilbert E. Patterson.
Rainey Harris began singing in her church choir at age 4. Most of her career was as a secular artist. It was during the filming of âDealing With the Devilâ(a movie depicting a young womanâs journey from the Church to the world, and back again), that Rainey found the Lord in a personal way. Since then, she devoted her life and career to serving the Lord. An anointed singer, praise dancer, and actress, she has performed and ministered in music in various venues in both the United States and abroad. Rainey is a graduate of Tennessee State University, where she majored in Speech Communications and Theater and is the recipient of the Memphis Larry Riley Rising Star Award for Performing Arts. She is also a frequent guest on the Mid-South âPraise the Lordâ program on WBUY 40, the Memphis affiliate Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN).
