The song "Travelin' Blues" was featured on the BEST BUY BLUES SAMPLER 2004 - "We're Happy To Bring You The Blues" 10,000 Units - Nationwide Distribution. This CD was released to promote The Rabble Rousers appearance at The 21 St. Annual Chicago Blues Festival, the largest free blues festival in the world. THE RABBLE ROUSERS BAND - One of the tightest and most entertaining new groups on the Chicago music scene today. This compilation of songs captures the band live as they prepared to perform at THE 21 ST. ANNUAL CHICAGO BLUES FESTIVAL. The life force projecting from the audience into the band is almost visible; you can hear and feel the crowd. The tracks on this recording display the band's self proclaimed "HOT RODDIN' ROCK N' BLUES" style of music that is bursting with high octane energy and fuel injected fun. This powerhouse band of blues rock musicians features sizzling slide & lead guitar, soulful vocals, a dynamic rhythm section and a revved up Hammond organ with a Leslie speaker cabinet. Collectively the band creates an exciting live show and a sound that is spontaneous, raw and improvisational.

Rabble says, "behind every record there's a band with a story". The Rabble Rousers Band was formed in 2002. According to the Merriam-Webster Dictionary the definition of RABBLE-ROUSER is, "One that stirs up the masses of the people". Ironically, the Rabble Rousers first performance was crowd building for the Chicago Fire Major League Soccer Team as a pick up band of Chicago based professional musicians. From the very beginning the band became known as a hot night club act that "charges through fuel injected blues and roots rock with impressive energy". [CHICAGO READER, INC. 06/11/04 The Reader's Guide to the 21st Annual Chicago Blues Festival] After performing regularly on the Chicago music scene the band was scheduled to perform at the 21st Annual Chicago Blues Festival in June 2004. With only a few weeks to go before the festival the band recorded two live night club shows in May 2004. At these two performances the Rabble Rousers debuted new original compositions in addition to a collection of their favorite blues standards. The rest is history! October 2005 - Midwest Beat Magazine By: Eric Steiner - The Rabble Rousers play no-frills Chicago blues. Their site features full-length songs for promotional use only, and as I type these bits and bytes, I listen to their exceptional âTravelinâ Bluesâ. Rich Rabble and John Spira founded the Rabble Rousers in 2002, and they have Rick Fobes on the Hammond B-3 (with the classic Leslie cabinet) and Mike Maloney on bass, with several regular drummers that include Aaron Turner (currently touring with Susan Tedeschi), among others.

October 2005 - Suburban Nitelife - Highlights, Ramblings & Thoughts from the Publisher. Congrats ... To a favorite band of this publication, the Rabble Rousers, who were just named on the www.iSound.com Top 100 list of unsigned artists. Check out their seven-song EP: Hot Rod Club - The Originals.

September 29, 2005 - Liberty Publication - West Chicago Circulation "Rabble Rousers Band to celebrate new release". The Rabble Rousers Band is performing at release parties for its latest compact disc. The "Hot Rod Club" CD was released for digital distribution on www.iSound.com at the end of August and quickly entered the iSound Top 50 Unsigned Artist list. In August the group was selected for an exclusive Sam Ash Band Sponsorship Program by the national musical instrument chain.

August 2005 - Suburban Nitelife - The popular Rabble Rousers band, playing "hot roddin' rock n' blues music", is releasing a seven song EP of all original songs in August. The CD is titled "Hot Rod Club - The Originals". This release features a new song "Hot Roddin' Little Momma" and is a follow up to their 2005 CD release "Live In Chicago", which features six cover songs and six originals - "100 Rabble". Last month, "Live in Chicago" was featured on several USA, Canada and international blues radio programs in countries across the world.
