Randy Partain has been involved with music ministry for over a decade, playing piano and writing music for worship and inspiration. Learning piano basics from his grandmother at the age of 3, Randy continued to work at honing his musical gifts through an undergraduate degree in sacred music from Florida Southern College in Lakeland, Florida. From there, he moved to Houston, Texas for graduate studies at Rice University's Shepherd School of Music. He attained both a Master's and Doctorate degree in music composition, all the while contributing to the music ministry of local Houston churches. Although he has written numerous compositions for the concert hall, he also strives to create Chrisitian-focused songs that are down-to-earth, uplifting, and challenging to people of faith everywhere.
