"High Lonesome Trail" is the 2003 release by Richard Alan Prow on Greybeard Music. It feature twelve original songs,some with a bluegrass flavor, some are sad country love songs and others have a definate folk sound.
Richard is best known as part of the succesful bluegrass group "Little Mountain" based in Georgia. However he has been writing and performing his entire life.
The CD "High Lonesome Trail' is a mix of bluegrass,country,Tex/Mex and folk,all of which have influenced his musical style. Born and raised in Kentucky,Richard grew up listening to a variety of music and began playing roots rock and country at an early age.
Performing professionally and semi-professionally since 1972 Richard has been active in the music scene all of his life, paying dues in countless dance halls, bars and coffee shops.
"High Lonesome Trail" holds something for everyone who loves roots music delivered honestly.
