"FADE" is the first album available by Massachusetts songwriter Roger Carmody. He's amassed, over the past twenty years, what he calls, " A closet-full of tunes (more than three hundred)" while hiding in his basement from the music industry. Recently coaxed by friends and fellow musicians into performing again, Roger has re-joined the outside world and promises to release more songs in the future.
"FADE" is a kind of musical sandwich, with "Fade-in and "Fade-out being the bread and each of the other tunes being an added musical slice. Says Roger, "What kind of sandwich would it be if it were filled with only baloney? You need the different ingredients to please the palette." That is, essentially what "FADE' is all about. Each song is uniquely different from the others in style and content, but contribute to the album as a whole.
