This CD is classical in nature, with some blues peeking out from underneath, a real mood setter with an exotic symphonic sound.
12 MP3 Songs
CLASSICAL: New Age, EASY LISTENING: Mood Music
Details:
Classically trained in piano, theory and conducting as a child, I always wanted to have an orchestra available to me so that themes I heard in my head could be cascading down upon real ears, not just the vibrations of my inner drums. The amazing capacity of modern sound boards has made it possible for me to let loose the inner gods or ghosts that drive me and let you hear exactly what has been dancing around in my head for years. Too pusillanimous to follow my dreams as a kid, I turned to law school instead, concerned more with food on my plate, than mana for the soul. But now as I grow older and have saved a few pounds of quarters for the casinos, I can afford to let the rest of you hear this weighty stuff---Royal Blue---deep dark and mysterious--a full orchestral sound--Just Give Me Love-a theme song from my original musical "Ruptials," Overture From A Wing and A Prayer--the story of Rose Caoli--my client who fed pigeons in the park and was arrested--Like A Pauper Looking In--an older guy dating a much younger woman, Two Thirds in Chase of a Third--a tonal story--Variations on the Life of a Sophisticated Cowboy--something reminiscent of Billy the Kid, Verrazanno Narrows-written when I was 16 and searching for the Lost City of Atlantis-now at 57 I am more like the Pauper looking in---Res Ipsa Loquitor--it just happened and I am responsible--Why Do I Do What I Do---the theme from the original musical-Real Lawyer--the story of a beleaguered Public Defender--The Birth of a Song for Orchestra and Jazz band--all of a sudden the drummer came in on his own--The Quiet Musings of the Monk's business---I just visualize them transcribing all day and night---March of the Workers-from Real Lawyer. Over the last several years I have unleashed several albums on the unsuspecting public---hopefully you can hear what I hear in my head--enjoy! Bob Field
