BLUES: Acoustic Blues, FOLK: Folk Blues

Details:
LIVE plus One is the third Delta Blues CD from guitarist/singer Ron Campbell. 12 tracks from his 2003 tour, plus the studio recording of Campbell's most well-known song 'This Is Not Spam'.

LINER NOTES:
"These songs were recorded live at various coffeehouses, churches, theatres and house concerts during the spring of 2003. They are solo performances, except for Tracks 11 and 12, where I was joined on stage by the talented Ron Irving. Though not âstudio qualityâ sound, they do capture the magic that only comes from playing for a live audience.
Hereâs what my music was like at this time - I hope you enjoy it!"
- Ron C.

"Ron Campbell sings and plays the blues like he was reared in the Mississippi Delta. He looks like the quiet reticent schoolteacher, [but] when he picks up that guitar and sings, he becomes a blues superman. He uses the Dobro to its fullest potential . . . The one thing I noticed the most about this artist is his ability to use the story to his advantage. It goes without saying that you must be able to tell a tale to sing the blues right. Trust me, this guy has it down. If you love the blues like I do, you won't want to waste any time picking up this platter." - Keith "MuzikMan" Hannaleck.
