Like the lizard he sings about, Robert's coat is as colourful and as shiny. At age thirteen he made his television debut fronting a country band; at age seventeen he was bass guitarist and lead vocalist for a high-flying rock and roll band playing to festival sized crowds, and by age nineteen had recorded his first single.

Raw and sinewy on stage, he rocks with honesty and intensity, while his Irish, French, Cree and Apache roots help him remain true to the muses that guide him. A pure singer/songwriter, Robert presents his music in a timely and ultimately, timeless fashion. A healthy lack of respect for musical borders only serve to make his music that much more memorable.

Robert is currently in the recording studio working on his upcoming CD entitled "Slouching Towards Bethlehem", a twelve-song outing that should see store shelves by late August of this year. "Get Raw", the first single from the upcoming CD, is available as a music performance video in the DVD format and includes photos, lyrics, discography, television and live footage as well as other cool things you need to know. A must-have for old and new fans alike.

Although much of Robert's back catalogue is still unavailable due to publishing and copyright legalities, his internet-only release "Until Now" has been re-mastered and now awaits packaging before pressing. âUntil Nowâ features ten studio tracks recorded from 1985 to 1995. The CD leads off with 1985âs âIs It Loveâ, a song that received regional radio airplay and later saw live television performances with Robert and his back up band âFingerprintzâ. âUntil Nowâ offers an exceptional overview of Robertâs many musical stylings within the rock genre, and most of the songs presented here are perennial fan favourites and frequently requested at live shows. The CD clocks in at roughly forty minutes and ends with the
1995 showstopper âMy Sisterâs Bringing Alex Chilton Homeâ, a punch-up, rave-out rocker that pays homage to one of Robertâs musical heroes, Alex Chilton and Big Star.
âUntil Nowâ serves as a cornerstone for âLizard On A Rockâ and âSlouching Towards Bethlehemâ and is a welcome addition to any CD collection.
