Rob Ray grew up in Moncks Corner, South Carolina. Rob was the singer/guitarist for a popular local alternative band named Z-Sharp. After a year or so of playing with Z-Sharp, he moved to Los Angeles. He lost a band and picked up an acoustic. While in Los Angeles he started to write about experiences, heartaches, and life. After playing open mics and acoustic shows in bars, coffe houses, and festivals; he noticed that his fan base was growing. Ultimately deciding that he should record a CD and take a shot at the big time. The debut release "A Look Inside" (2006) is a collection of deep emotional experiences set to music that is really moving. Rob now lives in Colorado and is playing small venues locally.
