"Joseph Smith the Prophet" comes from composer Rob Gardner, composer of "He is Jesus Christ" and "The Price of Freedom." It was completed when he was only 23 years old and has since been performed all over the world for an estimated total audience of almost 100,000.

The work includes powerful and moving new compositions as well as exciting new arrangements of "The Spirit of God," "A Poor Wayfaring Man of Grief" and "Praise to the Man." The lyrics and narration come largely from the writings of the Prophet himself and those who knew him.
