Details:
Like the aroma of carrot soup to Bugs Bunny, you can't help but be lured into the room as Roxie Randle starts to sing. The first thing you notice is her strong, supple voice. Next, her guitar-playing which is modest but elegant. Then the music... Roxie makes it easy for her audience to connect with the song by writing what she feels. Her songs are honest and accessible, inviting listeners to make themselves at home in the living room of her own little world...

First and foremost influenced by the closest of mentors, her parents, Roxie's childhood was rich with musical inspiration. Her father, an accomplished musician, and her mother, an angelic vocalist, both encouraged an early love for music. That love often triggered Roxie's impromptu living-room concerts at home...

"I used to gather my relatives in the living room after family dinners and belt out country covers, a capella, while using a hairbrush or a rolled-up magazine as my microphone. Entertaining just came natural to me." She soon graduated to public performing, her first appearance being a church solo at age 8.

With songs by such artists as Patty Loveless, Trisha Yearwood, and Reba McEntire, Roxie cut her teeth at countless fairs, festivals, contests, and private events in Illinois and Indiana. Her performing experience is extensive and includes opening for Terri Clark, Mel Tillis, Ricochet, and 1950's group The Vogues ("5 O'clock World"), providing the National Anthem at the Pioneer City Rodeo (Palestine, IL), and performing in concert with Shania Twain, (an honor awarded to Roxie as a result of placing 1st in WTHI's Shania Twain "Sing-to-Win" Contest in Terre Haute, Indiana).

Having written songs, poetry and short stories as a young girl, Roxie delved further into songwriting during college, teaching herself how to play guitar and building up her catalog. Her style is a result of combining several influences from various styles of music. "It's some Trisha Yearwood, some Amy Grant, some Shawn Colvin - all at the same time," Roxie says.

Since relocating to Nashville, Roxie's love for music has only grown. She performs regularly in popular venues around Nashvilleamong them, The Wildhorse Saloon, The Sutler, The French Quarter Café, and the famous Bluebird Café.

Her 2006 debut album, "Live at The French Quarter Cafe," is a raw live performance at the famous Nashville venue featuring a full band. The CD is available through CD Baby and her website. Be sure and check back for event information and updates...
