Welcome...
When an album brings a huge smile to your face in 10 seconds or less you know you got a winner!! In an unprecedented way, Rob Juice the songwriter has âone hear appealâ. The sounds we look for in todayâs Urban Jazz music. The stuff that dazzles, and flashes us back and forth in time.
Try this! close your eyes and listen to Rob Juice's muted trumpet on his song "My Breath" it will make you think of THE GREAT YOU KNOW WHO, but when you open your eyes, Juice puts you right back on Todayâs urban R&B, Avant-garde Jazz music platform (SNAP!).
The Beats come out of Juice's MIND like popcorn, the hooks pop out like a smooth Butter knife. Juice's writing style, art-form is a kinda cool Thrill-Drill. Rob Juice has arrived and is on Cdbaby first!
Juice is playing 98 of all instruments.
The album is Sexy, tasteful, Hot, Wet and down right devilishly Soulful in a sensual way. Juice is not a singer but many jazz artists tried their hand at singing? Hummm..(smile) Well Juice is in good company in this regard.. Bringing to mind the many colors of Jazz. Juiceâs high-end urban beats blur the Line between Jazz, R&B, POP and Hip Hop.
Juice is from Chicago the windy city and he has studied with Donald Byrd in college at North Carolina Central University. Benjamin Kirk at Shaw University, Burgess Gardner and Clark Terry in The Chicago All City Jazz Band, and his life long mentor Ted Stec.
Juice has performed with Chilites, Otis Clay, Willie Clayton, War, Tyrone Davis, The Dells, the Emotions, Tavares and Nick Colionne just to name a few. Juice is the writer of the theme song for the TV talk show 'My Brothers Keeper' which is aired weekly in Chicago. You might even find yourself saying âI know I have seen this man on stage before but it feels like I have loved him before too'. Request his name Rob Juice!!.
However, this is his Debut Album (What?) Now that strikes you like a load of bricks, think it thru. Juice certainly won't be a disappointment. So Take a sip of every sample track and taste the devilishly sensual melodies of a man Called Juice.
