Terra Phane was formed in Atlanta in 1994 by Diankeri Bernet, John G. McLane and Larry Zurn... strangely enough at the urging of local R&B promoter Dr. Vinson. The three of them wrote and performed all of the music. McLane engineered and produced this at Important Audio/ Atlanta, Ga).

These recordings have not been officially re-released until now. Terra Phane has been re-discovered by a new generation of metal heads, many of whom were not even born when the music was recorded! Remember, this was all cut and mixed entirely on analog tape without digital editing...there was no auto tune, audio quantizing, or even basic cut and paste editing! The tightness and accuracy of the playing and singing on this challenging music is a testament to how good the players were. Not to mention how punchy the sound is, handily trumping a lot of today's over- processed music ."
