Acoustic groove with an ebb n flow that sways between sultry and funky.
4 MP3 Songs
ROCK: Acoustic, ROCK: Jam-band
Details:
Rozinante is groove rock with an ebb n flow that sways between sultry and funky.
The music is set by percussive rhythms which lay down a foundation for lyrics that are both a social commentary as well as an interpersonal reflection.
Rozinante consists of singer/songwriters Jeff Santiago and Chad "Catfish" Treatman. Both are products of New York City, but met and began working together in Los Angeles, where they are now based. Though they started and ended up in the same places, they harmoniously blend their individual experiences into music that expresses their journeys. The name, Rozinante, comes from that which Don Quixote named his trusty steed. Rozinante symbolizes the vehicle that carries us through our experiences and dreams.
Rozinante recently finished work on a new EP, titled Rozinante, with producer James Book. James was the bassist and songwriter for The Flys.
Recently Rozinante as recruited a rhythm section, the dynamic duo, Dustin Jack on drums and Alex Bendana on bass. Soon they'll be back in the studio with James Book to record a full length CD.
You can catch Rozinante regularly in southern California as well as New York.
