In the early months of 2006, a common passion for life and expression brought five young Floridian friends out of the musical frustrations that made up their lives and into the joyful (but risk-ridden) endeavor of Rodeia. With the generous love and support of others, these five youths received what was needed to leave behind school, jobs, loved-ones, and other everyday securities to tour the nation sharing their love and faith inspired music with all who will lend an ear. For this season of their lives, the members of Rodeia plan to spend the majority of their time living in an insect infested fifteen-passenger van traveling from venue to venue in an attempt to share their creativity and joys of life with others. Their melodic yet indie-aggressive music is aimed at all audiences with an open mind. In this same sense, their desires are to meet and befriend individuals from all different regions and backgrounds, and reflect the God-enthused love that they have discovered onto others. Although hours of dedication have been invested into developing this bands current musical direction, this groups creativity is constantly pushing their sound to new levels of originality. While Rodeia is in fact a new band with a new sound, their ambitions are greater then any other and have been quickly noticed by a variety of fans.
