A storm is brewing in the southern Appalachians...
the music-meteorologist is calling for concentrated showers of tunes to come pouring out of this Asheville, NC band. Dancers can expect a steady inflow of old-time and Celtic jigs and reels with scattered original tunes. The forecast shows temperatures rising at contra dances but with only a 20 chance of all of these musicians being able to quit their day jobs. Appalachian Storm is aiming to develop over the region and spread as far as possible. Check out storm watch on their website to see when they'll blow your way.
