'Bluest Blue' is Patrice Haanâs newest album of original songs. Suffused with lakes and the sea, half of the collection of song-paintings features harp and voice, and half showcases piano and voice. The album represents a broad spectrum of styles from meditative tone poems to jazzy blues and swing.

Intuitive and poetic, âBluest Blueâ was completed with the considerable support and talent of these musicians: Rene Worst: bass, Jeff Sanford: saxophone, Tony Marcus: guitar on Penelope & Wake Up, Jennifer Scott: piano on Edge of the Sea & Penelope, Shira Kammen (vielle), David Morris (viola da gamba) and Julian Smedley (violin) on Golden Time, Dan Reiter: cello on Thetis Lake, and Brian Rice: percussion on Edge of the Sea. David and Julian played on Altars also.
