JR and the RKC have appeared at venues such as the legendary Ryman Auditorium, The Bluebird Café, The Ford Theater at the Country Music Hall of Fame, Tootsieâs Orchid Lounge, Caffeine Coffee Bar, the Commodore Lounge, the French Quarter Café, and various corporate events and parties. They have had the privilege of opening up for Jamie O'Neal, Ray Price, Bobby Bare, Bryan White, Daryle Singletary, Catherine Britt, and Linda Davis.
JR & the Roadkill Choir recently won the WSM 650 AM âTootsies to the Rymanâ Battle of the Bands competition in Nashville. They were selected as one 16 finalists from a pool of over 1,000 entries. They emerged victorious and had the honor of opening for Ray Price on October 21, 2005, at the historic Ryman Auditorium.
