Rich Skaggs is just another example of what a country boy from a semi-small town in Southern Ohio can do with talent, passion and understanding for human emotion. Like all musicians worth their salt, he can make you think about what it is that makes up this thing we call life by putting truth to music.

Without a current recording contract and completely independent, he has recorded a CD that reflects a bit of what the early country singers that have went on to be major label greats have done.

With his influences and sounds coming respectfully from the likes of Keith Whitley, Alan Jackson, George Jones, Randy Travis and Merle Haggard just to name a few but most powerful, Rich Skaggs has not forgotten what's needed to keep the "country" in the music.

He penned the thirteen songs that make up this CD. When asked he says in his own words,"I don't consider myself to be a good songwriter, I just put my thoughts and feelings to music and hope the point gets across somehow."
