At a very early age, Richard discovers music with his father, who inspired him a true love for this noble art. He learns to play keyboard and ends up leading many choirs, thus gaining extensive experience in music. In 1997, he settles in the United States and studies for a Master in Organizational Management. Later though, he finds himself unsatisfied and starts writing poetry to drain away his frustration. Finally, when he turns some poems into songs, the idea of a musical career emerges.

The making of this first album, "You're Special" was particularly demanding because of the small budget and some rejections encountered. But, as friends and family close to Richard affirm, "Richard showed a lot of perseverance and courage. Despite his own doubts and problems, he followed his heart." That is why he will stand like a one-of-a-kind artist: his powerful message and the passion inside each song are those special ingredients that create the magic when you listen to him. Richard's voice amazes by its purity, warmth and inspirational tone and all eleven songs on the album will guide you through love, despair, sadness and hope.
