Southern Gospel Piano Instrumental
10 MP3 Songs
GOSPEL: Country Gospel, GOSPEL: Traditional Gospel
Details:
I started playing the drums with my uncle's church band at the age of 7, and without any lessons. Around the age of 12 I started playing with a gospel band that traveled locally called the Liner Family. During that time I became interested in the bass guitar and began teaching myself to play a little at a time. At the age of 14 I became the bassist for a regionally known gospel band called The Singing Tennesseans that later became known as Tennessee Harmony. During that time I was introduced to Anthony Burger, Roger Bennett, Tim Parton, and Stan Whitmire. I knew then I wanted to be a professional pianist.
At 19 I got my big break in the Christian music industry when I became the pianist for one of Southern Gospel's top quartets, Poet Voices. With PV, I toured the United Stated and Canada with well renowned evangelist like John Haggee, as well as participated in the Bill Gaither Homecomings and National Quartet Conventions.
Two years later I became weary of living the road life and relocated to North Carloina to work with a Hispanic church. Although I was tired of the road life, the desire to be a music professional still burned inside.
I then went to Nashville and began pursuing a career in the music business. Where I go from here is only the beginning.
This album is titled "The Dream" because music has always been my passion, my life, and my dream.
