Rick Mobley is what they call a "big-time" talent in a small town. He grew up in a small town just outside of Greenville, N.C. , a province of the "Bible Belt." He first began singing in the church youth choir at the age of eight years old. His sensational singing ability landed him the position as one of the lead vocalist in the adult choir at the age of twelve where he continued singing until he left for college. During his college years Mobley participated in numerous talent shows where he always captured the hearts of the audience. After he graduated from college and pursued his career, once again he began singing in the church choir ,but this time it was different because he had given his life to Christ and understood to whom he was singing and who he was singing about. For many years he served as minister of music and praise and worship leader at his local church. This part of his background has a far reaching effect on his music. His music is not labeled as gospel music, but his message clearly is the gospel. The bible says "If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen { 1 John 4 : 20 }".

"It"s All About Love" is the appellation of Mobley"s first release. This single includes three songs and the instrumental of "Waited For You." The wedding song "Waited For You" should be at every wedding and beautiful celebration of true love being a refrain so brilliantly wondrous it is sure to make one fall in love all over again. Rick Mobley is currently working on his long awaited album aptly titled "... Finally!" His album will come with twelve original songs. The "...Finally" LP is schedule to release Spring 2006.

Rick was born in Winterville, North Carolina. He now resides in Goldsboro,North Carolina with his wife Vickie Barnes-Mobley whom he dedicates his work to, " His Inspiration, His Love.
